For an easy and fast access and management of large amounts of distributed data, some products, usually labeled as DataGrids, focus on creating virtual collaborative environments that support distributed but coordinated data access capable of avoiding the known bottlenecks that database systems create. One of these products is the eXtreme Application Platform (XAP) by GigaSpaces.
This plugin allows using the Fura Grid middleware to automatically deploy instances of GSM (Grid Service Manager) and GSC (Grid Service Container). You will be able to install the mentioned services in Fura Grid resources after just following a few steps.
The resulting platform (Fura + XAP) will mean a Fura platform with faster access to massive amounts of data, and at the same time, a XAP platform easier to install as well as with better managed and controlled the DataGrid resources.
